We were hoping for some more vegan options, and maybe things will change in the future.

Vegan option at Red Lobster if you’re unfamiliar with Red Lobster. It’s a popular seafood, surf, and turf restaurant in the United States. Most of their main dishes have seafood products in them, and as you’ll see today, there’s not a single Entree option that is vegan-friendly, but there are some good side options and one good appetizer that should be pretty interesting, and at least give vegans some good options at Red Lobster, so let’s jump into it first vegan item at Red Lobster is just a normal garden salad.

Garden Salad

This is true at Red Lobster. Their garden salad is vegan-friendly. You do have to remove the croutons and remove the cheese, and then they only have one salad dressing that’s vegan-friendly, and that’s their champagne vinaigrette.

The Next option at Red Lobster is a couple of side options that you can get that are vegan-friendly, as listed on the menu. The first of these is just their standard sea-salted French fries.

As I mentioned earlier, it would pair well with their wild rice pilaf, which gives that Asian flair, so you could order this as an entree even though it is an appetizer. It would be a solid meal if you were to eat at Red Lobster, so there is one more option you can usually make at Red Lobster if you are vegan. I ordered online, and this is not a menu item. Still, you can get their angel hair pasta with marinara sauce on top, like spaghetti and marinara, which is vegan-friendly. Both the pasta and the marinara are vegan. They used to have it on the menu. Still, they do not, so I could not pick it up, but it is something you can likely get if you eat at Red Lobster
restaurant.

Unfortunately, their famous cheddar biscuits are not vegan-friendly, which is a super bummer. I guess I’m going to have to find a recipe to make on my own to complete the meal because that’s the best part of Red Lobster, at least it used to be, in my opinion, those biscuits were super good, and two other things to note: they do have fresh asparagus on their menu, and they do have roasted harvest vegetables, just looking on the menu, I assume they’re vegan, but they both do contain butter they’re prepared, so neither of those are being friendly you may be able to ask for them just steamed, but as far as I could tell, and the person I talked to they could not be made vegan-friendly but it could vary based on the store.
